Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Provide respiratory care in critical care, CVICU, NICU, ED, and progressive care settings
• Perform all floor therapies as required
• Work with respiratory care leadership and staff to ensure high-quality care
• Utilize specific equipment such as Servo ventilators, Trilogy, and bubble CPAP
• Float between regions and departments within the scope of practice

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• North Carolina Licensure
• 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy
