Rehab Therapy - Physical Therapist

Location

Richmond, VA

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7 AM and 5 PM; weekends will rotate.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our rehab therapy team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, with a preference for those with inpatient rehabilitation and stroke evaluation and treatment experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional activities.
• Conduct neuromuscular re-education and self-care training.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, and Bioness during therapy sessions.
• Document patient progress in the Meditech Expanse system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required.
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation, specifically with stroke patients preferred.
• Must hold a valid PT license in the state of Virginia.
