The Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (JHBMC) Department of Pharmacy employs student pharmacists to serve in a pharmacy technician (pharmacy intern) capacity. What Awaits You? Career growth and development Diverse and collaborative working environment The Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for a variety of duties to assist in the preparation and packaging of medications, distribution and delivery of medications, supporting the maintenance of proper inventory levels, and keeping appropriate records and documentation. Location Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center 4940 Eastern Avenue Baltimore, MD 21224 Hours Casual, On Call (8 hours) Rotating Shift Weekend Work Required Requirements Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Six months of previous hospital experience preferred. Completion of a pharmacy technician training program is preferred. Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certified required. Flat Rate $27.50/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
