Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.**Ideal candidate would be in the surrounding area of Spencer and Spirit Lake with a 30 minute on-call response time for both Spencer Hospital and Lakes Regional Hospital. This position is staff by Spencer Hospital and will share call duties with Lakes Regional.**Responsibilities:*** Responsible for the operation of diagnostic ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision, according to the medical direction of the radiologist* Must provide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting films* The sonographer will adopt the missions of the Hospital and Radiology Department* Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics* Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure**Requirements:*** Graduate from an approved school of Medical Sonography* American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or registry eligible* Registered sonographer with ARDMS**Schedule:*** PRN availability for 9 hour variable day shifts - must be flexible* Scheduled on-call rotation for weekend nights and weekends* Rotating on-call holidays* The schedule may fluctuate based upon needs of the department**Spencer Hospital offers competitive wages, affordable insurance, IPERS retirement, in-house education, paid time off, family gym membership and so much more!****Please contact Spencer Hospital Human Resources for any questions at View phone number on click.appcast.io or email View email address on click.appcast.io.****Learn more about Spencer Hospital:** #J-18808-Ljbffr
