Maintenance Technician I

Location: 30 Gauthier Drive, Essex Junction, Vermont, 05452 Shift & Schedule: N1 Shift | Monday - Wednesday and alternating Thursday, 6:00 PM - 6:15 AM Overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment, while meeting productivity requirements and maintaining KDP's high standards in safety and quality.

What You Will Do:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on K cup manufacturing equipment.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting capabilities on control systems, servo drives, motors.
• Perform various equipment preventive maintenance tasks as necessary.
• Review documentation for maintenance activity using the maintenance database, and properly utilize the maintenance inventory system.
• Repair and maintain items necessary to maintain equipment in optimum operating condition.
• Assist in day-to-day support of operators for adjustments, setups, and change overs.
• Assist other maintenance technicians as required.
• Will assist in the training and coaching others on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Follow all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures.
• Maintain safe, clean, & well-organized work areas.
• Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.

Total Rewards:

• Starting pay: $35.01 per hour. Pay increases to $36.76 per hour in the quarter following the 6-month anniversary.
• This is a hourly, non-exempt position paid biweekly.
• Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement.
• Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility.

Requirements:

• Manufacturing maintenance experience, or equivalent technical experience.
• Ability to read and understand repair instructions, prints, flowchart, and schematics.
• Experience using e-mail, component maintenance manuals, and illustrated parts lists.
• Packaging experience is preferred.
• Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
• Ability to lift, push, pull, up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, & stoop.
• Ability to repetitively lift, twist, stretch, & reach overhead.
• Ability to stand during entire shift minimum of 12 hours.
• Work in compliance with OSHA regulations.
