Data Engineer

Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Python, React.js, and modern API frameworks. Build secure, scalable backend services, responsive user interfaces, and RESTful/event-driven APIs. Implement authentication, authorization, secure integration patterns, and OWASP-aligned coding practices. Develop clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in peer code reviews. Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues across the full technology stack. Lead and contribute to system architecture and design activities, including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), system diagrams, data flows, API contracts, and implementation approaches. Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for scalability, resiliency, performance, security, and maintainability. Design, build, and support AWS cloud-native solutions leveraging services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, Step Functions, and CloudWatch. Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK. Develop and support CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability capabilities. Support performance tuning, capacity planning, cost optimization, and cloud security controls. Collaborate with security teams to implement IAM, networking, and compliance requirements within a DevSecOps delivery model. Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical planning, story estimation, and solution design discussions. Translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks and deliver technical solutions. Mentor junior engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance. Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and architecture artifacts. Serve as a technical partner to product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen. Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance Must currently reside in the Continental United States. Must possess experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, DynamoDB, and MongoDB. Must possess experience working in Agile development environments (Scrum or Kanban) and using tools such as JIRA. Must have a strong understanding of object‑oriented design, design patterns, microservices architecture, and software testing strategies. Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
