Production Manufacturing Technician - 1st Shift

Job Description The PMT will operate selected manufacturing/processing equipment safely, meeting or exceeding quality requirements/standards in a timely manner at the lowest possible costs. The role involves work in highly controlled rooms, specifically clean line and clean room environments, utilizing electro‑polishing chemicals and equipment, high purity instruments, highly sensitive testing devices, assembly tools, and packaging equipment. Responsibilities General labor tasks such as loading/unloading cleaning equipment, miscellaneous assembly, inspecting, alcohol wiping, swabbing, carrying plates, nitrogen drying parts, leak, function and flow testing, bagging, packaging, and related duties. Operate microscopes, profilometers, lapping machine, air and electric drivers, impulse wire bag sealers, and leak/flow/function testing equipment. Operate ultrasound wash, electro‑polish, and insert installation stations. Monitor supplies and use the material replenishment reordering system. Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks. Cross‑train and assist other production areas depending on schedule. Work in clean room, clean line, or assembly areas as workflow dictates. Follow Ichor’s Standard Operating Procedures related to manufacturing duties. Use required PPE, including coveralls, boots, hairnets/headcovers/face shields, gloves, etc. Desired Knowledge and Skills Good communication skills, flexibility, and cooperation. High level of production skills. Clean room experience. Strong work ethic. Attention to detail. Basic math skills. Understanding of controlled process regulations. Computer applications such as MS Office products. Desired Abilities Standing – Frequently. Bending and twisting – Occasionally. Lifting 1-10 lbs – Frequently. Lifting up to 25 lbs – Occasionally. Lifting up to 50 lbs – Rarely. Close vision – Frequently. Use hands/fingers to reach, handle, and feel – Frequently. Pay For candidates based in Minnesota: hourly range $17.12-$29.09 (non‑exempt).
