Job Description Conveniently located in the heart of Knoxville, Tennessee, Turkey Creek Medical Center offers a comprehensive range of services as part of Tennova Healthcare, one of the state's largest healthcare networks. The facility features a 24/7 emergency department, intensive care unit, advanced surgical suites, and a dedicated Heart Hospital. The adjacent Tennova Surgery Center West includes four fully equipped operating rooms and two advanced endoscopy suites, providing a robust and diverse clinical environment. This opportunity is ideal for a fellowship‑trained Cardiac Anesthesiologist seeking a collaborative practice with a strong cardiovascular program, excellent work‑life balance, and highly competitive compensation. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthesia care Conduct pre‑anesthesia evaluations and assessments Obtain and/or verify informed patient consent Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and expected outcomes with patients and families Perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitor patients' physiological status throughout procedures Manage hemodynamic and clinical interventions as necessary Collaborate closely with surgeons, proceduralists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes Requirements M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Anesthesiology Residency Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted Tennessee medical license Demonstrated expertise in the perioperative management of complex cardiac surgical patients ECFMG certification (if applicable) Compensation & Benefits Competitive Compensation: $600,000 Annual Base Salary $125,000 Sign‑On Bonus; additional incentive opportunities available Retirement Benefits: 401(k) with 4% Company Match, 2% Annual Profit Share, contribution through NAPA's Retirement Program Comprehensive Benefits Package: Generous paid time off; Health, dental, vision, life, disability, and AD&D insurance; Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA); Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage; CME allowance and professional development support Leadership and career advancement opportunities; training assistance and loan repayment programs where applicable EEO Statement North American Partners in Anesthesia is an equal opportunity employer.
