Accounting ClerkLocation: Greater Lansing Area, MISchedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMPay: $22.00 per hour ( Based on experience)We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join a busy office team in the Greater Lansing area. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with invoices, payments, account records, and general accounting data while maintaining a high level of accuracy.The Accounting Clerk will support day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, transaction processing, reconciliations, and general accounting support.What You’ll Do• Review incoming invoices and confirm information is complete and accurate• Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation• Enter invoices, payments, refunds, charges, and other transactions into the accounting system• Assist with processing payments, including checks, electronic payments, and wire transfers• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable activity• Maintain accurate and organized invoice, payment, and financial records• Enter daily worksheets and financial information into the general ledger system• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding account questions• Research payment or invoice discrepancies and assist with resolving issues• Verify figures and supporting documentation for accuracy• Assist with month-end accounting activities and preparation of reports• Use internal computer systems and databases to process bills, maintain records, and order supplies• Provide additional clerical and accounting support as neededWhat We’re Looking For• At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, account management, or equivalent accounting-related experience• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel• Strong data entry and numerical accuracy• Ability to maintain organized financial records and documentation• Comfortable communicating with vendors, customers, and internal team membersIf you have hands-on accounting experience and enjoy detail-oriented work in a professional office environment, we encourage you to apply.#IND1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Personnel World
