Work Environment

This Full-time position is primarily onsite at our assisted living facility in Orlando, where you will work within a collaborative and multidisciplinary team that includes X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, and Administrative Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary clinic staff in delivering exemplary patient care through effective behavior modeling and communication strategies.
• Exhibit professional accountability by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of patient charting and documentation daily.
• Provide clinical mentorship and guidance to staff, addressing any areas for improvement to ensure high-quality professional services.
• Conduct thorough assessments by analyzing patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostic results to establish appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement clinical protocols as directed by the Chief Medical Officer and Supervising Physicians while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribing medications appropriately, and consulting with patients to enhance their understanding of ongoing treatment plans.
• Perform necessary therapeutic procedures, including but not limited to incision and drainage, suturing, and comprehensive wound care.
• Maintain a supportive, communicative atmosphere that aligns with the core values of Evergreen Family Practice.
• Take on additional tasks and projects as required by clinic management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve elderly patients who reside in our assisted living facility. This population may present with a variety of acute and chronic health conditions, requiring you to draw upon your extensive clinical experience and compassion. Your role will significantly impact their overall health and well-being, leading to better quality of life and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nursing.
• Current, valid Family Nurse Practitioner license to practice in the state of Florida.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare operations and the ability to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to cultivate positive relationships with patients and team members.
• Experience with telehealth practices is highly desirable, as virtual consultations will be part of your responsibilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment, with outstanding organizational skills.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, preferably in a similar setting assisting the geriatric population.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using electronic health records and other technical tools related to patient care.
• Experience in leading a clinical team, setting performance metrics, and enhancing patient care protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

We are proud to offer a competitive salary range of USD 125,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
