If you're ready to support patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary needs while traveling the country, this is your opportunity!Minimum Qualifications:Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment requiredMinimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist in an acute care or hospital setting requiredGraduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program requiredCurrent CRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) requiredCurrent, valid, and active driver's license requiredAbility to travel using publicly available air and ground transportationCertificates, Licensures, Registrations:Current, valid, and active state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist requiredCurrent Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from NBRC requiredCurrent BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clientsACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications may be required by Vibra Travels and/or clientAdditional Qualifications/Skills:Experience administering respiratory treatments and managing oxygen delivery systemsAbility to perform and monitor ventilator management and non-invasive ventilationKnowledge of arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and analysisFamiliarity with respiratory equipment, protocols, and electronic medical record systemsStrong attention to accuracy, patient safety, and detailAbility to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teamsFree from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplaceUnlike working for agency after agency, with our travel program, you get to work for a company:Work with 1 recruiter from start to finish and assignment to assignmentLocal and Non-local positions availableCompetitive hourly rate in addition to tax-free stipend (if applicable)No pay cuts mid-contractReferral bonus (up to $1000 per referral!)License reimbursement if traveling to new state where new license is requiredYour pick of assignments at partner facilities from various health systems across the countryVibra follows federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening.
