Certified Crane Operator

McMillen, Inc. is looking for a Certified Crane Operator. The right candidate will be willing to perform other related duties outside the cab in addition to operating the crane. We are a drug-free workplace, and you must consent to drug test and background checks.

The Operator's function is to be able to safely operate our Lattice Boom Crawler Manitowoc 555. The operator must have good operational skills to be able to produce high volume quality work in a safety-conscious work environment. The operator must be able to effectively communicate with boat captains, foremen, and laborers to produce quality work in high volume, time-sensitive conditions.

This position requires 100% travel.

Responsibilities:

• Functions with regular supervision from managers/supervisors.
• Applies common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Must be willing to get out of equipment and assist with laborer duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Certified crane operator
• NCCCO Crane Certification for Lattice Boom Crawler and RT cranes
• Crawler crane experience is required
• Prior experience operating cranes on water is preferred
• Pass a drug test and background check
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation to and from work

Compensation Package:

• Pay Range: $35.00 - $45.00/hour; (DOE)
