Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in an inpatient surgical setting
• Assist surgical teams across multiple service lines in the operating room
• Respond to and support Level 1 trauma cases as required
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to established surgical protocols and standards of care
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members throughout all phases of surgical care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 3 years of inpatient surgical nursing experience
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Competency in at least 5 surgical service lines
• Strong communication skills with a positive, flexible attitude

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or academic medical center surgical environment
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly across multiple surgical specialties
