Description: This position is a cross posting for a job ID. Evening shift hours are required. Candidates are open to 4x10s or 5x8s. The candidate must be available to work Saturday and Sunday, with other days being flexible. Fridays and Mondays are preferred. Four years of experience is required. The candidate must have skills in automated and manual microtomy, embedding techniques, and staining methods. Experience with charting systems is necessary. Candidates should have the ability to perform tasks such as cutting tissue sections and handling various specimen types. It is essential to follow safety protocols and remove any foreign objects when allowed by protocol. Additional skills in operating specialized laboratory equipment are also required. The candidate will be expected to float within their scope of practice as needed. Travel may be required for this position. References are required.
