FPGA Design-Verification Engineer

Description: 

ENG- Perform ASIC and FPGA development for an R&D program involving digital signal processing, high-speed digital design, high-speed communication, and system-on-chip implementations on FPGA platforms. Support design, simulation, verification, integration, and testing of complex, high-speed products while collaborating across engineering disciplines.

#Education & Job Requirements

*Bachelor's degree with 9-15 years of experience or Master's degree with 7-13 years of experience
*Experience with FPGA design tools including Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, and Synopsys Synplify
*Proficient in SystemVerilog
*Proficiency with HDL simulators, waveform viewers, and coverage tools
*Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test setups and test equipment such as JTAG and logic analyzers
*Experience with version control systems and configuration management
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

#Job Duties & Functions

*Develop ASIC and FPGA solutions for R&D programs
*Design digital systems involving digital signal processing, high-speed digital design, high-speed communication, and system-on-chip implementations on FPGA platforms
*Test and integrate FPGA-based digital systems and complex, high-speed products
*Create automation methods and scripts to improve FPGA development efforts
*Collaborate with Systems Architects, RF/Analog and Digital Circuit Designers, and ASIC/FPGA Engineers
*Contribute to design, simulation, verification, integration, and testing activities
*Provide technical direction and support to junior engineers
*Apply high-speed networking concepts to complex system development
