Location: Largo, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shifts operate from 5:30 AM to 7 PM, with a requirement to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description: As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our psych/rehab department, you will provide essential patient care, focusing on both the physical and psychological needs of patients undergoing various procedures, including kidney and liver transplants, neuro cases, and orthopedic cases. This role requires a strong ability to work independently and maintain composure in stressful situations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications as necessary.
• Document all patient interactions in the EMR (Meditech).
• Assist in various surgical procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the state of Florida.
• Must have experience in transplant nursing, neuro and orthopedic cases.
• Travel RNs and local CNAs with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
