Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM; every other weekend and potential on-call responsibilities.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care settings, including trauma and cardiovascular surgery. As a member of the ICU staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, performing advanced procedures, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage patient care in an intensive care environment.
• Perform critical procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and ICP monitoring.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
• Adhere to unit guidelines and policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in Texas.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS.
• Previous ICU experience is mandatory; Level 1 or 2 trauma experience and CV surgery experience preferred.
