Reporting directly to the president, this role offers an opportunity to strengthen financial processes, implement best practices and partner with leadership in a dynamic, growth-focused environment. Position Overview This is a high-impact role for an accounting leader who thrives in a hands-on setting and wants to help shape the financial foundation of a growing company. You will: Drive a faster, more disciplined month-end close and deliver timely, decision-ready financials Establish strong accrual and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance Lead cash management, liquidity planning and forecasting Oversee cost and inventory accounting, with preparation for a standard-costing environment Collaborate with operations and executive leadership to support day-to-day needs and long-term strategy Why This Role? Key Responsibilities Manage the full accounting cycle, including close, accruals, reconciliations and reporting Oversee treasury functions, including daily cash positioning, working capital and covenant reporting Strengthen internal controls and streamline accounting processes Lead cost and inventory accounting, including variance analysis and valuation methods Prepare accurate financial statements with clear management commentary Serve as primary contact for external audits and compliance Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting required Six or more years of progressive accounting experience, with at least three in manufacturing Strong knowledge of US GAAP, cost accounting and cash forecasting ERP experience (Sage 100 or similar) and advanced Excel skills Proven track record of improving close timelines and financial processes Preferred: CPA (or pursuing), experience with standard costing and BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) Ability to work on-site in Tuscaloosa, Alabama About Aris Amplify This search is being conducted by Aris Amplify, a Charles Aris Inc. company.
