Senior Classification, Pay, and Examinations Analyst ANALYST III

The California State Lottery, Classification & Pay/Exams Unit is seeking a highly skilled senior human resources analyst to perform the most complex and/or sensitive work associated with classification challenges and recruitment efforts. Under the general direction of the Supervisor I (Sup I), the Analyst III performs the more responsible, varied, complex analytical, consultative, and administrative work associated with departmental recruitment activities. Provides recommendations and assistance to the Sup I, Human Resources Management, Executive, and Program staff on the most difficult hiring-related issues or concerns. Acts in a lead capacity to oversee projects, develop and maintain policies and procedures, and develop and conduct training relating to personnel management for the California State Lottery (Lottery). This position is headquartered at Sacramento Headquarters and is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule. Employees must be able to report to their assigned headquarters office. Travel expense to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee. Eligibility for telework requires the employee to reside in California per California Government Code Section 14200 which states: "telecommuting means the partial or total substitution of computers or telecommunication technologies, or both, for the commute to work by employees residing in California.
