All district employees are encouraged to review their personnel file periodically to ensure that their file includes current and relevant documentation that supports their education, experience, training, etc., as it relates to qualifications described on job postings.HOURS: Approximately 200 hours/year, mostly evenings/after school (includes about 70 extra-curricular events throughout the year)RATE OF PAY: $18.88 - $21.52/hour (DOE)LOCATION: Kalama School District, Kalama, WashingtonJob Description And ResponsibilitiesThe applicant will be responsible for the safe operation of concessions facilities during extra-curricular events. Arrive one hour before the event start time. Open concessions 30 minutes before start time and make sure the concessions facility is clean before releasing concession workers after the event. Count inventory and order supplies to restock as needed. The school will be responsible for assigning students to each event.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust currently hold or be able to obtain a food handler's card upon hire. Must pass a State and Federal background check.Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules. Ability to speak effectively to administration, staff, students and parents.Other Skills And AbilitiesSkills in reading, understanding and following safety rules and regulations. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with students and staff. Ability to perform duties with awareness of District requirements and Board policies. Ability to work independently and to communicate proactively.
