Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) – Inside / Outside Sales Location: Hybrid NMLS License Required About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to join our credit union mortgage team. This hybrid role combines company‑provided leads with self‑generated business through referral and community relationships. Our ideal MLO is sales consultative, relationship‑driven, and passionate about delivering a member‑first lending experience from application through closing. What You’ll Do Convert company‑provided leads and internal referrals into closed loans Build and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, and community partners Conduct mortgage consultations (phone, virtual, in‑branch) Complete applications, disclosures, and compliant loan files Manage pipeline timelines and provide proactive member updates Participate in community marketing, and business‑development events Responsible for complying with all laws, statutes, rules and regulations which govern credit unions, including but not limited to all components of the Bank Secrecy Act provisions of the US Patriot Act Must comply with all credit union policies and applicable laws and regulations; maintain confidentiality of member information What Success Looks Like Meeting or exceeding mortgage production and conversion goals Delivering a high‑quality, consultative member experience Supporting members outside normal business hours when needed Qualifications Active NMLS license (required) 5–10 years of residential mortgage lending experience Minimum $6MM in outside mortgage production in the past 12 months Strong relationship‑based sales and communication skills Why Join Our Credit Union Member‑focused, relationship‑driven culture Hybrid role with company‑provided leads with self‑generated business Strong brand and community presence Benefits & Perks Competitive paid time off & holidays Vision insurance Dental insurance Health insurance 401(k) matching & discretionary contribution 401(k) Disability insurance Paid holidays Career advancement opportunity Competitive base pay and incentive plan And more!
