Full-Time, Exempt Private Country Club is hiring an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for members and guests. Working closely with Director of Food & Beverage, this position is responsible for assisting in the daily operational of all dining outlets, events, and banquet services, ensuring a high level of service, staff development, and member satisfaction. Other duties include staff training, supporting and coaching staff with hands-on service, work with culinary team to ensure seamless service delivery, scheduling, managing front-of-house staff, handling member requests, monitoring inventory and ordering supplies when needed, and successfully planning and execution of club events, private events, and exceptional dining experiences. Bartender

Competitive hourly pay $10.50, plus tips Location: Hermitage Country Club – Manakin-Sabot, VA Hermitage Country Club is seeking skilled, personable, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Bartenders. In this role, you will craft high-quality beverages and provide exceptional service to members and guests in a refined private club setting. The ideal candidate combines strong mixology knowledge with a polished, hospitality-driven approach. No experience needed, will train on the job!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests
• Maintain expert knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, beer, and club offerings
• Provide attentive, engaging service while maintaining professionalism
• Ensure bar setup, cleanliness, and organization before, during, and after service
• Monitor responsible alcohol service and adhere to all ABC regulations
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently (if applicable)
• Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory as needed
• Collaborate with service staff to ensure a seamless guest experience

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience required (private club or fine dining preferred)
• Must also be willing to take tables in addition to making drinks
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Must meet all legal requirements for alcohol service in Virginia

Restaurant Server

As a server in a private club setting, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our members and their guests. This position requires a high level of service, attention to detail, and a warm, polished demeanor.

• Provide prompt, courteous, and personalized service to club members and guests.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve meals and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area before, during, and after service.
• Anticipate member needs and respond proactively.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
• Uphold the Club's standards for hospitality, appearance, and etiquette.

Qualifications:

• Previous serving experience preferred (fine dining or private club experience is a plus).

Hostess

The Hostess is responsible for warmly welcoming members and guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless dining experience. This role requires professionalism, excellent communication skills, and an ability to handle a fast-paced, high-end environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat members and guests promptly and courteously.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using the club's reservation system.
• Coordinate with servers and dining staff to ensure efficient table service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entrance.
• Address member inquiries and accommodate special requests when possible.
• Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating plans to optimize service.
• Communicate with management regarding VIP guests or special events.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed.
• Uphold the club's standards of hospitality, etiquette, and professionalism.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience in a fine dining, hospitality, or private club setting preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Event Servers play a vital role in ensuring each event is executed flawlessly and exceeds member and guest expectations.

• Set up and break down event spaces, including tables, linens, place settings, and service stations
• Provide attentive food and beverage service during events, including plated meals, buffets, and passed hors d'oeuvres
• Maintain a clean and organized event space throughout service
• Follow event timelines and coordinate with banquet captains and kitchen staff
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally
• Adhere to all service standards, safety guidelines, and club policies
• Assist with post-event cleanup and resetting for future functions

Qualifications:
