From completing service requests and apartment turns to preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, your work directly impacts the resident experience. • Complete resident service requests accurately and efficiently
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, painting, and carpentry issues
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Prepare apartments for new residents by completing high-quality apartment turns
• Maintain the appearance and functionality of common areas, amenities, and grounds
• Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls as part of the on-call rotation
• Accurately document completed work orders and communicate with residents regarding repairs
• Maintain maintenance inventory, equipment, and shop organization
• Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety policies
• Work closely with the property management team to deliver an outstanding resident experience

What Success Looks Like

• Service requests are completed promptly and correctly
• Apartment homes are move-in ready when promised
• Preventative maintenance minimizes unexpected repairs
• Residents receive friendly, professional service
• The community remains clean, safe, and well maintained throughout the year

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
• EPA Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general carpentry
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work indoors and outdoors
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
