The Opportunity

The Senior Growth Marketing Manager owns the systems that connect our mission to new supporters and keep existing supporters engaged: marketing automation, advertising, and the tracking infrastructure that connects the two. This position goes beyond maintaining existing systems; it identifies gaps and builds the infrastructure required to grow LiNK's fundraising revenue, expanding our reach as we work toward the day when every North Korean person is free.


What you'll do

Paid Media (40%)

• Manage the day-to-day operation of LiNK's advertising accounts.
• Build, launch, monitor, test, and optimize advertising campaigns focused on growth.
• Build and maintain conversion tracking across all advertising platforms, ensuring accurate attribution from ad click through to form submission, donation, or other conversion events.
• Work with the Assistant Director of Growth to set campaign measurement plans before launch: objectives, target audiences, conversion events, tracking, and reporting.
• Develop and manage advertising strategy, including channel and audience targeting, to drive acquisition and revenue growth.
• Partner with the Marketing & Communications and Annual Fund Team to coordinate campaign launches across advertising, email, website, and other digital channels, aligning timing, messaging, tracking, and conversion paths to drive revenue goals.
• Track spending against approved budgets and flag issues like overspend, limited delivery, and underperforming campaigns.
• Request creative assets needed from graphic designer and filmmaker, including specifications, asset delivery, and versions for testing.

Marketing Automation and Technology (30%)

• Own LiNK's marketing automation platform, including email templates, automation rules, drip campaigns, list hygiene, suppression policies, and A/B testing.
• Build and maintain segmentation and audience lists that support acquisition, engagement, donor retention, and personalized communications with a focus on increasing conversion.
• Partner with the Annual Giving & Data Manager to ensure accurate and reliable data flows between marketing systems and platforms, connecting marketing performance with supporter and donation data.
• Own the marketing tech stack, ensuring tools support campaign objectives and data remains accurate and reliable, partnering with IT providers and vendors to troubleshoot technical issues as needed.

Data, Reporting, and Analysis (30%)

• Implement and maintain tracking across LiNK's web properties to capture the data needed for reporting and decision-making.
• Build and maintain reports tracking traffic, engagement, conversion rates, acquisition performance, and return on investment across marketing channels.
• Analyze performance across website, search, social media, email, and advertising channels, leveraging attribution modeling to identify what's driving results, and turn findings into actionable recommendations.
• Analyze website content, landing pages, acquisition paths, and user journeys to identify barriers to engagement and donations.
• Partner with the Graphic Designer & Web Developer to run conversion-rate optimization initiatives, including A/B tests, landing-page improvements, signup forms, popups, donation flows, and calls to action.
• Monitor organic search performance and identify technical SEO, content SEO, and answer-engine optimization opportunities.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, growth marketing, marketing technology, digital marketing, or a comparable role, preferably in the non-profit sector.
• Hands-on administration experience with a marketing automation platform, Pardot preferred.
• Demonstrated experience building automation, workflows, and integrations.
• Hands-on experience managing paid advertising accounts, including campaign setup, conversion tracking, budget pacing, attribution modeling, and performance reporting.
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
• Strong data skills, including the ability to structure, audit, and interpret digital marketing data, and to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with technical and content SEO, including emerging answer-engine optimization.
• Experience with conversion-rate optimization and A/B testing in email, website, and ads.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities effectively and independently.

Preferred

• Experience managing a Google Ad Grant account and maintaining program compliance.
• Experience with any of the following: Pardot, Salesforce, Webflow, Funraise, Formcrafts, Stripo, Optibase, Looker Studio, UTM.io, SEMrush.
• Familiarity with the Pardot-Salesforce connector and how marketing automation data syncs to a CRM.
• Experience with donor lifecycle, recurring giving, lapsed-donor reactivation, year-end campaigns.
• Experience as the sole owner of a martech stack.

Bonus Points For:

• Basic HTML/CSS for email and landing page troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with data privacy and consent requirements (GDPR, CCPA).
• Having a go-to toolkit - the platforms, naming conventions, and QA habits you bring to a new stack on day one.

Location

Both local and remote candidates may apply. Our headquarters is in Long Beach at 115 Pine Ave, Long Beach, CA.

For local candidates: We work on a hybrid schedule and come into the office in Long Beach once a week on Wednesdays.

For remote candidates: You may apply from any location within the States.

The pay range for this role is:

83,000 - 91,000 USD per year (United States)
