Looking for candidates who want to join, build, and contribute to a great team and an evolving culture!Type of Hire: Temp-to-Hire Title: Laser Operator Location: Oxnard, CA Work Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday Compensation: $17Job Summary:The Laser Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting machines to produce precision parts and components according to company specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Machine Operation: Set up and operate laser cutting machines, including programming and adjusting settings as necessary.Load materials into the machine, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser cutting equipment.Maintain accurate records of production runs, including material usage and machine settings.Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.Adhere to company policies and procedures, including quality standards and regulatory requirements.Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including engineers and quality control, to meet production goals.Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any issues or concerns.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating laser cutting machines in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with CNC programming and machine setup.Skills: Strong attention to detail and precision.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Proficient in basic math and measurement tools.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or a related field is a plus.For IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION, please apply immediately with your resume and availability to interview.
