Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced fine dining environment. The ideal candidate must have 2+ years fine dining experience , have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience through attentive service, effective communication, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Present menus, provide recommendations, and answer any questions regarding food and beverage options.
Take accurate orders using POS systems.
Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.

Requirements:

Skills

Previous experience in the food service industry in fine dining or nightclub settings.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is a plus.
Basic math skills for accurate order taking and payment processing.
Knowledge of culinary practices, food preparation techniques, and sanitation standards.
Experience as a host/host is advantageous for understanding guest relations.
