Join Our Family at Allbrick Veterinary Clinic in the heart of Denver, CO! We are looking for an Associate DVM to work 3 or 4 days a week (3 days is full‑time!). Job Summary The Associate DVM ensures a high quality of veterinary care, client service, employee well‑being, and productivity of the veterinary medical team. The Principal Doctor and Practice Manager will lead the Associate DVM to ensure the well‑being of the hospital environment, medical quality, and business performance. Key Responsibilities Perform consistent, high‑quality veterinary care and maintain a positive hospital environment. Adhere to WellHaven protocols and oversee staff to prioritize practice goals. Collaborate with the Principal Doctor to establish development plans aligned with hospital objectives. Practice veterinary medicine in compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain accurate medical records. Provide thorough client communication via in‑person, phone, and email. Participate in community events, marketing initiatives, and hospital projects. Demonstrate proficiency in anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and current medical practices. Advocate for exceptional client service and patient well‑being. Provide medical training to support staff; lead, train, or manage support staff as required. Customer Service Delivery Consistently provide professional, efficient service. Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills with the veterinary team and clients. Adopt individualized client approaches and resolve complaints appropriately. Other Responsibilities Ensure the hospital meets safety standards and regulations set by the DEA and OSHA. Meet all OSHA standards as outlined in company policies. Perform other job duties as assigned. Required Skills and Knowledge Uphold integrity and ethics in all actions. Education and Experience Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree. State Veterinary Board license in good standing at hire. USDA accreditation is a plus. Work Location, Environment and Physical Requirements Onsite hospital or approved offsite event location; no remote work. Limited space, pet waste odor, and noise. Shift schedules may include 10+ hour shifts, Saturdays, evenings, holidays. Good hand‑eye coordination, arm‑hand‑finger dexterity, and visual acuity. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and climb. Potential exposure to pets, biological hazards, anesthesia chemicals, radiation near X‑ray, controlled substances.
