Supervisory Medical Administration Specialist

Supervisory Medical Administration Specialist
The duties of the Supervisory Medical Administration Specialist include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, implementing, evaluating, and reporting on plans and procedures required to meet administrative activities and programs within the section.
- Closely monitors the modules for compliance with regulatory guidelines, initiating discussion with staff concerning identified conflicts, and resolving.
- Performs key coordination within the section, with other services in the medical center and other VA entities.
- Reviews work assignments and functions to positions to improve work flow to increase productivity and promote job satisfaction.
- Prepare plans to meet substantial changes in workload and propose and justify revisions in staffing levels, work priorities and deadlines.
- Responsible to create, actively promote and effectively, manage a culturally diverse work force.
- Reviews final work products (e.g. action items, controlled correspondences, site visit findings) to ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness.
- Understands the operations, issues and perspectives of acute and ambulatory VHA clinical programs.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
