Speech Language Pathologist in Orange, NJ

Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as a full-time Speech-language Pathologist in a vibrant elementary school setting. This contract opportunity runs from now through June 25, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:15AM to 3:15PM. You’ll make a meaningful difference in students’ lives, working with an engaging elementary caseload. Key Qualifications Valid New Jersey SLP licensure required (CCC-SLP) Prior experience in a school-based SLP setting Confidence navigating district policies and school environments Ability to independently manage a caseload with diverse needs Capable of conducting thorough speech-language testing, assessments, and evaluations Must supply your own testing materials Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable transportation for commuting to the school site Willingness to complete onboarding requirements: TB test, physical, and fingerprinting Not accepting CF or SLPA applications due to supervision limitations Primary Responsibilities Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families Accurately document progress, prepare reports, and ensure compliance Adapt therapy approaches to meet the dynamic needs of students This position offers a welcoming school environment, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to have a real impact on children’s academic and personal development.
