Primary Care Medical Director | Southwestern Vermont

3-Day Clinical / 2-Day Admin | 275,000–325,000 Base + Signing Bonus & Full Family Premium Support

We are seeking a Primary Care Medical Director to lead our fully integrated, community-focused health center in Southwestern Vermont. This position offers a 50/50 balance between clinical practice and strategic leadership, backed by an exceptional support system designed to eliminate physician burnout.

Compensation & Financial Highlights

• Base Salary: 275,000 – 300,000 to start, with a clear path to 325,000 .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality primary care to a diverse rural patient population across all age groups.
• Lead and mentor a dedicated team of primary care nurse practitioners and clinical staff.
• Collaborate on program development, quality improvement, and expansion of integrative community health initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree; Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine .
• Experience or strong interest in clinical leadership and mentorship (we are willing to train and mentor promising candidates into the leadership scope).
• Active (or eligible for) Vermont medical license and DEA registration.
