Technical Services Delivery Manager-Platform Services

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the end‑to‑end execution of high‑impact, cross‑functional initiatives within the Platform Services organization. This senior individual contributor role drives alignment across engineering, product, security, infrastructure, and compliance stakeholders, managing technical delivery plans, surfacing risks, resolving blockers, and ensuring accountability from idea through implementation. Program & Delivery Execution Own delivery plans and quarterly roadmaps for platform initiatives—defining scope, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths across multi‑team efforts. Facilitate execution for large cross‑functional programs such as cloud platform migrations, automation rollouts, observability frameworks, and policy‑as‑code enforcement. Run planning, standups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives with a delivery‑first mindset. Drive structured execution through frameworks like SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery models. Technical Context & Coordination Partner with engineering and architecture teams to understand solution architectures, surface technical dependencies, and preempt integration risks. Coordinate infrastructure provisioning, cloud resource dependencies, API interfaces, or migration activities across teams. Understand blockers at a systems level such as IAM constraints, security reviews, and cross‑environment sequencing and work them to resolution. Facilitate Program Increment Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect & Adapt workshops. Drive continuous improvement across Agile teams and ARTs. Stakeholder Alignment Act as the delivery point‑of‑contact for executive stakeholders, product managers, engineering leads, and governance teams. Track progress with clear metrics such as burn down, velocity, risk register, and percent complete and communicate status in an actionable executive‑friendly format. Manage stakeholder expectations with transparency and accountability—no surprises. Operational Readiness Ensure that delivery includes operational artifacts such as runbooks, SLOs, documentation, and compliance evidence. Partner with SRE, DevSecOps, and GRC to validate operational requirements are met pre‑deployment. Coordinate release planning, change windows, and support readiness across environments. Track and report Agile Release Train level metrics such as feature progress, team velocity, predictability, and risk burndown. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work to achieve operational targets with major impact on the infrastructure engineering department or job area results and contribute to the development of goals for the area of responsibility. Design, build, manage, and implement enterprise infrastructure technology platforms and systems across cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, or middleware domains. Develop and apply automation, monitoring, and optimization techniques to ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure. Manage large infrastructure projects and programs aligned with organizational strategy and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners to integrate new technologies and continuously improve infrastructure standards and processes. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues impacting infrastructure performance and reliability. Ensure compliance with technology strategies, standards, and governance to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence. Review infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures to support operational consistency and knowledge sharing. Provide strong technical guidance, training, and direction to infrastructure teams and lower‑level technical professionals. Demonstrate innovative influence with stakeholders in supporting business objectives and technical strategic objectives. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering. Advanced knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware. Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of experience in technical program or delivery management within enterprise IT, platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure organizations. Strong understanding of platform technologies such as cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD), IaC & automation (Terraform, Ansible, ServiceNow workflows), container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift), and security & observability tools (Vault, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Splunk). Proven ability to drive delivery across multiple concurrent efforts with complex interdependencies. Exceptional skills in written communication, stakeholder influence, and risk management. Hands‑on experience with tools like Jira, Rally, and Confluence for tracking and reporting. Exposure to internal developer portals and platform product management. Background in software engineering, platform operations, or systems architecture. Experience working with compliance‑heavy environments such as NIST, SOX, FFIEC, and ISO.
