Key Qualifications for Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP):
- Active Pennsylvania RCP license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Commitment to delivering outstanding care to infants, children, and adolescents
Primary Responsibilities of the Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP):
- Provide direct patient care in a home environment
- Implement physicians' prescribed care plans and maintain accurate documentation in the system of record
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
- Promote health and provide education and training to family members
