Phlebotomist - Raleigh, NC

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Raleigh, NC patient service center to perform blood collections, process specimens, and deliver customer service. The position operates Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm, with opportunities for growth and performance-based bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and similar analyses
• Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen information logs
• Process billing information and collect payments from patients when required
• Provide exceptional customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
