Housekeeper

A warm, faith-centered family is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain their organized and welcoming home. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who takes pride in creating a clean, orderly environment and enjoys supporting a busy household with young children.

The household consists of two work-from-home parents, two young children (a 2 year old boy and a 4 month old girl) and three small Chihuahua dogs. The family values kindness, integrity, respect, organization, and long-term commitment.

Position Overview

The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the 4000 square foot residence while assisting with laundry, meal preparation, household errands, pet care, and occasional childcare support. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, discreet, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Primary Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Home Care

• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
• Surface cleaning and daily tidying
• Polishing and detailed cleaning tasks
• Making beds and changing linens
• Maintaining an organized, orderly home environment

Laundry & Garment Care

• Washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry
• Ironing and caring for garments and household linens

Kitchen Support

• Washing, drying, and putting away dishes
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
• Preparing healthy meals and assisting with meal preparation

Household Support

• Grocery shopping and household errands
• Maintaining household supplies and inventory
• General household organization projects

Pet Care

• Caring for three small family dogs
• Walking pets and assisting with daily pet-related responsibilities

Additional Support

• Providing limited childcare assistance as needed
• Assisting during occasional family travel
• Supporting the overall smooth operation of the household

Ideal Candidate

• Previous professional housekeeping experience in a private home
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Professional, discreet, and trustworthy
• Comfortable around children and pets
• Positive, service-minded attitude
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
• Willingness to travel occasionally with the family
• Seeking a long-term position with one family

• High probability of relocation to Texas within the next 18-20 months.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 25 hours per week guaranteed
• Occasional weekend flexibility requested

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive compensation of $35.00–$45.00 per hour , commensurate with experience, qualifications, and overall fit ($36,400 – $46,800 gross annual salary)
• Mileage reimbursement for work-related driving

Travel
