I&E TechnicianHemlock, MI, United States | req32436What you will enjoy doing:Perform work safely following Linde's policies and proceduresTroubleshoot, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical systems (600VAC and below) and automatic control valvesCalibrate and maintain pneumatic, electronic, and process control instrumentation, including analytical equipment such as IR and Gas Chromatograph analyzersUse control logic drawings to troubleshoot process control systems and document repairs in the CMMS systemSchedule and execute maintenance for electrical, pneumatic, instrumentation, motor control, and analytical systemsClimb ladders, stairways, and operate man-lifts for elevated maintenance while ensuring safety and instructing contract personnel on complianceBe knowledgeable of switchgear control systems and functionally rack breakers in and out or switch themRead, interpret, and maintain, as needed, P&IDs and schematic wiring diagrams in compliance with SOPs, QA, and MOC policiesLearn to operate units to continuously supply products at the appropriate quantities and qualities safely and economically, complying with all environmental regulations and daily customer requirements. Support Operations as neededMonitor process performance and make appropriate adjustments to remedy deviations and align with the specified normWhat makes you great:Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in Applied Sciences or equivalent apprenticeship is preferredBring at least three years of experience in process control instrumentationDemonstrate proficiency with a variety of instrumentation and electrical hand tools, meters, and calibration equipmentPossess working knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, and motorsRead and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and schematic wiring diagrams accuratelyExhibit strong organizational and planning abilities to manage tasks effectivelyApply strong computer skills to support technical and administrative dutiesCommunicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formatsWhy you will love working with us:Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
