Associate Teacher

Associate Teacher Full Time Sacramento, CA, US Pay Range: $23.79 to $26.79 per hour (approximately $49,487 to $55,723 annually) Definition: Plans in collaboration with the Center Supervisor and/or Master Teacher for the supervision and instruction of enrolled children. Responsible for supervision of an instructional assistant, or volunteer as assigned. May be designated as acting Center Supervisor when the center supervisor is absent for a day or more. Minimum Qualifications Education: Minimum Requirement: 12 core units of early childhood education (ECE) or child development (child/human growth & development, child/family/community or child and family relations and program and curriculum). Credential: Minimum Requirement: Current Associate Teacher permit or higher, issued by California Teacher Credentialing Experience: Minimum Requirement: 12 months in an ECE or school age center setting. Certification: Current Infant/Child/Adult CPR and Pediatric First Aid. Other Requirements Must be authorized to work in the US A pre-employment physical, current TB Clearance (less than a year old), current measles and pertussis vaccinations are required for this position. Must have reliable transportation. If required to drive for work purposes must have a Clean Motor Vehicle Record, a valid CA Driver License, and an insured vehicle.
