Overview Physical Therapist — Wallingford, Pennsylvania. This travel assignment is for a licensed physical therapist to provide rehabilitation services in a long‑term care setting. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,238–$2,329 per week Guaranteed hours: 35 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., 5 days per week Start date: 06/01/2026 Location: Wallingford, PA Responsibilities Perform initial and ongoing PT evaluations for residents; establish functional goals and develop individualized treatment plans within scope of practice. Provide therapeutic interventions including mobility, strength, balance, gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and therapeutic exercise; adapt plans as needed to meet progress. Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary care team; adjust goals and treatment frequency accordingly. Collaborate with other professionals during rounds; educate residents and families on therapy plans, safety, and home exercise programs; assist with discharge planning. Ensure accurate, timely documentation in charting systems; maintain patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
