Job Summary: Sewing Machine Operator:

We are seeking a dedicated Sewing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality garments, upholstery, and fabric-based products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sewing techniques, materials handling, and quality standards in production. Your expertise will contribute to efficient manufacturing processes, ensuring that each product meets precise dimensional measurements and craftsmanship standards. Duties: Sewing Machine Operator:

• Operate various sewing machines, including industrial sewing machines and serging equipment, to assemble garments and fabric products efficiently and accurately.
• Measure fabric materials and finished products using measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specified dimensions.
• Perform manual cutting of fabrics and materials with precision to prepare pieces for sewing.
• Construct seams and perform seam construction tasks that meet established quality standards in production.
• Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and movement of fabrics and finished goods.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the sewing process, verifying that products conform to quality standards and specifications.
• Utilize embroidery machines or techniques when required to add decorative elements or branding.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by adhering to safety standards in production, including proper machine operation procedures.
• Assist with fabric materials handling, including loading, unloading, and organizing supplies for continuous workflow.
• Support garment construction projects by executing sewing tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Required Experience: Sewing Machine Operator:

• Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines, including serging and embroidery equipment.
• Familiarity with garment sewing, upholstery sewing, and seam construction techniques.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments used for dimensional measurements in fabric and finished products.
• Experience working with various fabric materials, including textiles used in apparel or upholstery.
• Understanding of quality standards in production environments to ensure consistent product excellence.
• Warehouse experience is advantageous for handling materials efficiently within storage areas.
• Prior exposure to manual cutting (fabric cutting) processes is preferred.
• Commitment to safety standards in production environments, with awareness of proper machine operation protocols.
