What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care for neuro, stroke, vascular, and post-surgical patients, including neuro/brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVA, and post-neurosurgery
• Monitor and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and manage critical patient needs
• Manage pre- and post-operative neuro patients, ensuring safety and optimal recovery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for treatment planning and patient care
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records (Epic experience preferred)
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Participate in unit and hospital protocols, including holiday shifts and on-call duties as required

What You Need

Required:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or appropriate compact state
• Minimum 2 years' recent Med-Surg/Neuro/Tele nursing experience
• Epic EMR experience (strongly preferred)
• BLS, NIH, ACLS certifications
• Ability to work night shift (19:00 - 07:00) and participate in holiday/on-call coverage

Preferred:

• CPI certification
• Experience managing complex neuro and stroke patients
