Job Overview We are a leading commercial construction company in the greater Mobile, AL area, and we are looking for an experienced Construction P6 Scheduler to join our growing team. Issue invitations to bid to subcontractor partners and receive and organize incoming subcontractor bids for review by the team. Identify, coordinate, and track key dates and deliverables. Assist in maintaining internal historical cost, project, and subcontractor databases. Assist the entire team (Business Development, Project Management, Marketing, etc.) with the generation of preconstruction material for presentation purposes. Actively participate on internal teams focused on continuous improvements of the business and its processes. Support estimating engineers in overseeing bid processes, coordinating incoming bid information, and preparing detailed pricing for disciplines. Interact with owners, architects, and subcontractors; represent the team at pre-bid meetings, site walks, and surveys. Review design documents to determine necessary trades required for bidding a complete project. Prepare detailed scope sheets for individual disciplines on large projects, using the same approach for all disciplines on smaller projects. Communicate clearly with subcontractor partners. Develop a working knowledge of material unit costs, system unit costs, and buildout square foot costs. Maintain familiarity with all plans, specifications, and documents assigned. Become familiar with all policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Gain understanding of the requirements of working within various buildings throughout Atlanta. Qualifications Experience in construction scheduling or estimating using P6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Bluebeam, Planswift, Building Connected, and ProCore. Ability to work with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams. Comprehensive knowledge of bid processes, cost estimation, and project documentation. Capability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
