GHD is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Water Treatment to join our team based in our Phoenix, AZ office. We are seeking someone with experience in the evaluation, planning, and/or design of Water and Wastewater treatment infrastructure projects, including alternatives analysis; preliminary and process design; treatment facilities design; and engineering services during construction. We are working on some of the most cutting-edge programs in the U.S., including organics-to-energy.

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will provide design guidelines, technical oversight, project engineering and management services, client management and business development relating to Water and Wastewater projects. Further, you will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team in sophisticated and innovative projects, support in the training and mentorship of engineers and other technicians and become part of our regional leadership team.

Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures, and facilities, such as roads, railroads, airports, bridges, harbors, channels, dams, irrigation projects, pipelines, power plants, and water and sewage systems.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in civil, Environmental, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• Master's degree in civil, Environmental, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in the Water/Wastewater treatment design with emphasis on upgrades of Water/Wastewater treatment
• Valid AZ Professional Engineering license is preferred, or a Professional Engineering license in another state with the ability to obtain a AZ license within one year preferred

Salary Range: $96,000- $145,000 based on experience
