What would you do working in this role?

• Service existing accounts by using your analytical skills through reviewing work orders, investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems
• You need to establish what's wrong | what needs to be done by examining the problem... then get parts, place orders, and schedule those repairs! 
• Develop relationships with customers! You are their "problem- solver!" They call us/you to keep their businesses up and running! 
• You must like paperwork- it's required for this job! Detail-orientation is a ust! 
• Confidentiality is key in a role like this! 

What skills do you need? 

• Must be willing to cross- train
• You might be called out at odd hours- so being able to plan ahead in important
• You may need to jump in at the drop of a hat, so being being flexible helps 
• There is local travel involved- so being able to drive 
• Must be able to solder and braze

Education and Experience Needed: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• Completed a degree/certification in the HVAC industry
• Being willing to learn more! Education and training in the Industrial HVAC field – Required
• 7+ years or more as an HVAC Service Technician
• Strong skills in the following would be awesome! 
  • Blueprint experience
  • Knowledge of HVAC equipment both heating & refrigeration, air distribution, & hydronic piping
  • Controls both hardware & software applications
  • Math skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Communication and reasoning skills
  • Electrical skills
  • Controls skills
  • Testing and balancing skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable to drive

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL/WORK REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to:  Stand or walk for long periods of time during the regular work day; use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects; lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds; climb up and down ladders, work at high heights, scaffolds and other climbing devices; carry tools and equipment; work while in stooping, kneeling, crouched, and crawling positions; be able to see naturally or with correction, to safely perform designated tasks
• Must be able to:  Perform assigned tasks under all types of environmental and weather conditions including severe cold, extreme heat, wet or dry weather, and high winds. Environmental conditions may include areas where toxic or caustic chemicals or fumes are in use or being stored.  May be required to operate or work around power tools
