divh2Lead Safety And Security Officer/h2pThe Lead Safety and Security Officer functions under the supervision of and in coordination with the Director of Guest Experience. This position is responsible for overseeing daily security operations, leading security personnel, and ensuring the safety of our premises, assets, guests, and staff. This role maintains a high-visibility presence while proactively preventing illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe, and report while delivering a safe, positive, and memorable experience for each guest./ppPrimary Duties And Responsibilities/pulliLead, supervise, and direct Safety and Security Officers during events and venue operations./liliDevelop and manage security staff schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage based on event size, complexity, and risk level./liliMaintain accurate records of all security personnel and track Tennessee Private Protective Services licensing to ensure full team compliance./liliConduct pre-shift meetings to communicate assignments, expectations, and event-specific risks./liliDevelop and execute event-specific security plans, including staffing deployment, crowd control strategy, ingress/egress flow, and emergency response procedures./liliProtect company property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment./liliEnsure guest and staff safety through effective entry screening, inspections, and enforcement of venue policies./liliProvide friendly and professional guest service, assisting with inquiries, directions, and event-related information./liliOversee and support crowd management efforts, including monitoring capacity and maintaining safe attendee flow./liliPatrol the venue and surrounding areas and proactively identify risks./liliServe as the primary on-site responder for incidents and lead de-escalation efforts./liliCoordinate with venue management, staff, and law enforcement as needed./liliMonitor surveillance systems and investigate incidents./liliComplete and review incident reports./liliAssist guests with special needs including ADA accommodations./liliEscort individuals from the premises when necessary./liliPerform first aid or CPR if required./liliAct lawfully in direct defense of life or property./liliPerform other related duties as assigned./li/ulpQualification Requirements/ppExperience Required:/pulliHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent/liliThree to five years of relevant security experience/liliPrior leadership or supervisory experience required/liliMust possess a valid Tennessee Private Protective Services Security Guard registration (license)/liliMust pass a criminal background check/li/ulpSkills And Knowledge Required:/pulliStrong leadership and communication skills/liliAbility to manage high-pressure situations/liliStrong observational and problem-solving abilities/liliAbility to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments/liliProfessional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills/liliAbility to de-escalate conflict/liliBasic computer skills/liliStrong written and verbal communication skills/liliReliable and organized/li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliAbility to stand and walk for extended periods/liliAbility to lift up to 50 pounds/liliAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidays/liliAbility to work in loud, high-energy environments/li/ul/div
