Registered Nurse-Emergency Department In-House Registry

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department In-House Registry Part‑time, rotating shift. Hourly pay $48–$55. As a Staff Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will provide comprehensive care to acutely ill patients, following the nursing process and maintaining ANA standards of professional practice. Responsibilities Collect and analyze data, identify outcomes, develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinate care, and evaluate progress. Direct care and determine appropriate utilization of assistants in direct patient care. Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff; create documented plans and communicate decisions. Participate in shared governance, committee work, and unit projects. Evaluate and document patient responses, and individualize care plans based on findings. Utilize evidence‑based practice to guide decisions. Required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license American Heart Association BLS certification Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years. Additional Requirements for Emergency Services Acute Care Life Support (ACLS), PALS/ENPC & TNCC within one year of hire for Emergency Room. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) & TNCC within one year of hire for Pediatric Emergency Room. Non‑Invasive Cardiology: ACLS. Preferred qualifications: Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications RN, Certified Pediatric RN, Certified Emergency RN. Preferred Experience in specific clinical area.
