Quality Assurance Supervisor
Catalent
Quality Assurance Supervisor overseeing incoming, distribution, and packaging operations at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Philadelphia. Reports to Quality Operations and supports compliance with GMP and GDP regulations across all warehouse and production activities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all QA activities for incoming goods, distribution, destruction, and process auditing
- Investigate compliance issues related to incoming, distribution, returns, and packaging operations
- Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to develop process improvements and efficiencies
- Schedule daily resource plans and track quality metrics to identify trends
- Act as site subject matter expert for GMP and GDP standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED minimum; college degree preferred
- 5+ years production quality assurance experience
- 5+ years supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in regulated industry (pharma, food, automotive, etc.)
- Knowledge of FDA cGMP requirements and auditing techniques
- Proficiency with MS Office and inventory management systems
- Basic familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies advantageous
