Travel RN (Registered Nurse) - Oncology

Job Description:

The Oncology RN will be responsible for providing care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses, including oncology patients needing chemotherapy, as well as those with conditions such as strokes, hypertension, COPD, CHF, and more. The RN will work within a supportive unit culture alongside a charge nurse and patient care techs.

Responsibilities:

Administer chemotherapy and other medications
Monitor and assess patient conditions
Titrate medication drips such as Lasix and Heparin
Provide care and support for trach and BiPAP patients
Collaborate with monitor techs for telemetry

Requirements:

BLS Certification
NIHSS Certification
Experience with titrating drips and medication administration
Willingness to float to other MedSurg units as needed
