Because we are expecting continued growth, Mayo Manufacturing is recruiting for positions in the following departments. As positions become available, we will contact candidates for follow-up.

FUTURE PRODUCTION WORKER OPPORTUNITIES

* Cutting Department - Pulls, inspects and cuts fabric using equipment and machinery. Supplies the sewing team with fabric for the next step in the production process.

* Sewing Department - Sews utility components, backs, seats and cushions, preparing material for the upholstery line assembly.

* Shipping - Warehousemen and Driver-Warehouseman (CDL required) receive and ship furniture according to schedule. Loads and unloads trailors.

* Quality Assurance - Services and inspects all out-going products to ensure the highest quality and accuracy of all finished goods.

* Mill - Mill Operators, CNC Operators and Mill Utility associates work with the incoming wood components, preparing, assembling, and fitting frame sets for the upholstery department, where the final product is made.

* Foam - Cutting Machine operators, foam (glue booth) operators, and specialists prepare the internal components of sofas and chairs by cutting, gluing and organizing foam and fiber products in preparation for final assembly in the Upholstery Department.

* Upholstery - Upholsterers, Decorative Nail and Trim Operators and Final Finishers assemble all components of the furniture on a line. This requires an eye for detail and quality, as the upholster shapes and fits the fabrics and foam over the wood frames and secures into place. Finally, wrapping and packaging is the last component to ensure damage-free handling of the final product.

HOURS

Hours for all production positions are generally 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday (with frequent Fridays and Saturdays required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
