RegalCare at Sudbury, a compassionate and patient-centered organization, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Activities Director to join our team. As an Activities Director, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for our patients and residents. With our commitment to providing the best possible medical care in a comfortable and home-like setting, we are seeking a dynamic individual who shares our values and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement activities programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our patients and residents
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure activities align with individualized care plans and goal-oriented therapy
Coordinate and implement special events, outings, and celebrations that promote socialization, engagement, and enjoyment
Recruit and manage volunteers, encouraging community involvement and participation
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities programs, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results
Foster effective communication and collaboration with patients, families, and staff to ensure a positive and inclusive environment
Maintain accurate records and reports of activities participation and outcomes
