Utility Worker I

Job Title: Materials Operator
Pay Rate: #####/hr
Hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm


Job Description
i. Perform material weighing, mixing and sheeting as necessary to support product development.
ii. Accurately and consistently test rubber materials using a variety of diagnostic equipment such as RPA, Durometer, SPG
iii. Collect and organize data in a standardized report.
iv. Maintain material inventory on a bi-weekly basis.


Required skills and minimum years of experience:
i. 2 years' experience in a laboratory or production environment (preferred, not required)
ii. weighing and mixing chemicals
iii. Basic mathematics
iv. Able to lift up to 40lbs
v. Able to operate basic machinery
vi. Basic PC skills (MS Office Suite)


Education: HS Diploma or Equivalent


Top 5 daily responsibilities?
i. Batching - follow work instruction to collect and measure raw ingredients
ii. Mixing - interface with rubber mixing equipment for batch processing
iii. Data collection - use basic laboratory equipment to generate materials data
iv. Record keeping - maintain a daily log of activities
v. Housekeeping - maintain a clean working environment through daily upkeep
