About the Opportunity

Merakris Therapeutics is a regenerative medicine company focused on advancing patient care through human tissue technologies. We are seeking experienced independent medical sales representatives with established relationships in ophthalmology, optometry, wound care, or Veterans Affairs healthcare accounts .

This opportunity is well suited for representatives looking to add complementary products to an existing portfolio. Product opportunities will be aligned with your experience, customer relationships, and territory. Experience in all specialties is not required.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and manage relationships with physicians, clinical teams, administrators, and purchasing stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and introduce Merakris products to appropriate healthcare accounts.
• Educate customers using company-approved product information, clinical resources, and ordering guidance.
• Drive account development, product adoption, and repeat business through consistent follow-up.
• Coordinate with Merakris support teams on customer onboarding, ordering, and available reimbursement resources.
• Share territory activity, customer feedback, and competitive insights.
• Conduct business in accordance with company policies and applicable healthcare compliance requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• An established network in ophthalmology, optometry, wound care, or VA healthcare accounts.
• A demonstrated ability to generate new business and grow customer relationships.
• Experience selling medical devices, biologics, human tissue products, ophthalmic products, pharmaceuticals, or wound care products.
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
• The ability to manage a territory independently and maintain consistent customer follow-up.
• Prior success as a 1099 independent medical sales representative is strongly preferred.

For representatives pursuing VA opportunities , we are particularly interested in candidates with existing VA connections and the ability to navigate the sales process independently with remote support from Merakris.
